Cheonjiyeon Falls
Cheonjiyeonpokpo Falls is known for its stunning beauty, as it appears to cascade from the heavens, which is reflected in its name meaning "sky connected with land." The lush wooded area surrounding the falls is home to wild dampalsu trees, designated as a Natural Monument, along with a diverse variety of rare plants, including brambles, songyeopnan, gusiljappam trees, sanyuja trees (also known as Chinese lemon trees), and camellias. This entire forest is recognized as a Natural Monument. The waterfall itself stands 22 meters high, 12 meters wide, and has a depth of 20 meters. The clear, deep waters of Cheonjiyeonpokpo Falls are designated as Natural Monument No. 27 and are well-known as a habitat for Mutae eels, which are also recognized as a Natural Monument.
